Event Hosted by India Biotech Leaders of Tomorrow IBLoT with key opinion leaders about the importance of the One Health concept and the looming silent pandemic of microbial resistance and how to tackle it. Organized during AMR Awareness Week (18th November 2022)
Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) represents one of the leading public health threats of the 21st century, which is exacerbated by the overuse and misuse of antibiotics worldwide. It threatens to destabilize nearly a century of progress since the first use of antimicrobial compounds. It is responsible for causing 700,000 deaths per year and is predicted to cost more than 10 million lives annually by 2050. Addressing such an issue starts with the basics of awareness. On the premise of the upcoming World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (18–24 November 2022), a global campaign by the World Health Organization for AMR awareness, we are happy to partner with TechInvention Lifecare Pvt. Ltd., Emerging Biopharmaceutical Manufacturers Network (EBPMN) and the International Bacteriophage Research Consortium (IBRC) on an initiative to contribute to the campaign by inviting key opinion leaders (KOLs) of the industry to be part of a panel discussion about the importance of One Health concept and the looming silent pandemic and how to tackle it.
On the occasion of World Immunisation Week, TechInvention Lifecare Private Limited has arranged a roundtable to discuss the possibilities of setting up a framework on how we can contribute towards making COVID-19 the last pandemic we ever face. Host Ansh Bohrey speaks with Sanket Shah, Senior Manager - Strategic Medical Affairs, Sarang Pathak, Senior Manager - Global Business Development and Shaily Sethi, Deputy General Manager - Regulatory Affairs.
